What makes a sign ADA Compliant

The sign must designate a "permanent space" within a facility. It has to be marked with a minimum of 5/8" high characters. These characters must be raised from the surface atleast 1/32" of an inch. The raised copy must be accompanied with Grade II Braille.

Only the text that states the permanent space behind that door needs to be raised.

Example:
Suite 102 is Jane Doe's office.
The customer may have the room number 102 in raised copy, and her name in something removeable. The customer may opt to have the name "OFFICE" as the raised copy and have no name or number on there at all.
